The Switch Health Charity Challenge

Switch Health is proud to launch our 2025 Charity Challenge—a series of events designed to bring people together, have fun, get fit, and most importantly, support our nominated charity, Broadway Lodge.

This year, we’ll be taking on a variety of challenges including a 24-hour sponsored cycling event, half marathons, and even a triathlon. Our goal is to raise £10,000 for Broadway Lodge. Yes—it’s a big number, but we truly believe that when we come together for a single purpose, great things can happen.

Charity is very important to me, and it is something I will always push to promote and raise money for. Having witnessed friends battling with addiction and the mental and physical strain it takes on them and their families, they wouldn’t be here today without the help they’ve received from charities like Broadway Lodge. Any way that I can support and raise awareness for them, I will.

Giving back to the community is something I’ve always had a passion about, and what better way to do this that including fitness to keep everyone healthy whilst helping a fantastic charity.

I'm taking part in the challenge because I believe it's a fun way to support a truly deserving and important charity. It's a great opportunity to raise funds for a cause that makes a real difference in people's lives. I'm really looking forward to getting involved, doing my part, and contributing to something that matters.

After witnessing my best friend battle through the highs and lows of drug addiction—the struggles, the relapses, and ultimately the incredible strength it took to come out the other side; charities like Broadway Lodge have become deeply important to me. The compassion, dedication, and life-changing support they provide is nothing short of extraordinary. I'm taking part in this challenge to help raise awareness about the harsh realities of addiction and to shine a light on the incredible work Broadway Lodge does every single day.

I’ve seen the powerful impact it has, helping people rebuild their lives with compassion, care, and hope. Being able to support that in any way is an honour. I have family members who have had their personal struggles with addiction, so Broadway Lodge holds a special place in my heart.

I’ve seen addiction up close — in my own family — and I know how hard it is to break out of that cycle. Broadway Lodge gives people the kind of support that can change (and save) lives. That’s not a slogan — it’s real. They treat people with dignity and care when they’re at their lowest, and that sticks with you.

Broadway lodge has helped so many people within our community get back on their feet and it’s amazing to see. I rely on my support system a lot and this offers that to people who may not have one.

My partner used to be a recovery worker, and I have seen how powerful impact it has, helping people rebuild their lives and start again. Being able to support that in any way is an honour. I have family members who have had their personal struggles with addiction and seen what it’s like to have that support when sometimes you feel you have no one.
